Afternoon – Wildlife Introduction:
Enter Etosha National Park, Namibia’s premier wildlife destination covering over 22,000 km².
Embark on your first game drive, stopping at key waterholes where animals come to drink. Expect sightings of elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, giraffes, antelope, and numerous bird species.
Settle into your lodge before sunset, giving you time to relax and explore the surroundings.
Evening – Optional Wildlife Viewing:
Enjoy dinner at the lodge.
Optional visit to the floodlit waterholes near your lodge to observe nocturnal wildlife, including elephants and black rhinos. Etosha’s waterholes are particularly active after dark.

Depart early in an open safari vehicle for a full day exploring Etosha. Early mornings are prime time for spotting predators returning from their hunts, as well as active herbivores at waterholes.

Visit multiple waterholes to observe interactions between predators and prey.
Stop to admire the Etosha Pan, a 4,700 km² white salt pan, nicknamed the “Great White Space.” Its vast expanse is both striking and unique, forming a desert-like habitat that attracts wildlife from all directions.
Late Afternoon:
Exit Etosha via Anderson Gate near sunset.
Short drive to your nearby accommodation. Enjoy the tranquil setting, with opportunities for evening relaxation and wildlife observation near the lodge.

Evening – Arrival in Swakopmund:
Check into Hotel A La Mer, centrally located for easy exploration.
